I provide you with Specific Fitness programs aimed to help you, as the individual in getting an overall health and fitness well-being. I work with the individuals, in the sporting world of Golf, Tennis, Football, Hockey, Running and many others.

Group sessions are available at the gym or at the club and even outside.

90-Day Plan – 5BX & XBX

With some fitness programs it is not the aim to have bulging muscles, as well as, it is not just for the young men and women BUT all ages. Doing a regular fitness plan can have a positive effect on your mental fitness, as well as increasing your desire for vitality, appearance and your personality.

The 5BX Plan – Five Basic Exercises – was devised by Dr. Bill Orban for the Royal Canadian Air Force in the late 1950’s. The Plan is composed of 6 charts arranged in progression. Each chart is composed of 5 exercises which are always performed in the “same order ” (warming-up and stretching is included in this order of the exercises) and in the same maximum time limit.

The idea is that you perform these exercises for only “11 minutes” a day to achieve a reasonably high level of fitness.

The XBX plan – Ten Basic Exercises – for women was developed by the Royal Canadian Air Force inspired by the 5BX fitness plan for men, devised by Dr. Bill Orban.

The idea is that you perform these exercises for only “12 minutes” a day to achieve a reasonably high level of fitness.

The targets/chart levels are the same for both plans, based upon age and once you have reached your personal target, you only have to perform the exercises 3 times a week to maintain your level of fitness.

 


 

Spikey Balls

The Spikey ball originated in Denmark to stimulate and arouse psychiatric patients in depressed mental states and associated postural breakdowns.

It has been used extensively by physiotherapists, chiropractors & osteopaths throughout the world in relieving pain, improving postural problems and giving patients home exercises.

This information is now being used for all types of patients with various disorders e.g. computer operators, postural dysfunction in young people and sports injuries to name a few.
